My public-safety priorities focus on strengthening emergency response, increasing transparency, and making sure every tool we use is effective, accountable, and respects civil rights. That means auditing safety technology, restoring four-person fire engine crews, exploring a regional fire service model, improving coordination with EMS providers, enforcing fire codes, and modernizing dispatch — all while keeping community trust at the center.

Fiscal Responsibility & Innovation
I’m pushing for real, meaningful innovation in Sparks - not buzzwords, but practical steps that make our city stronger and more efficient. That means strategic electrification of certain fleet vehicles save money long-term, reviewing executive contracts as employees retire, restoring a true risk-management model to reduce lawsuits and insurance premiums, and modernizing how we communicate and plan for the future. Innovation should make government more accountable, more transparent, and more responsive to the people who live here.
